oil gallery plugs

Just got the latest block back from the machine shop. I noticed the three small oil plugs (one near dizzy, 2 down by #1 piston) are still there but look to be in good shape.
Should I remove and replace these? would hate to have to do this on an engine once installed.
If so how do they come out? they look like soft metal plugs, I see the replacements are threaded grub type screws,
Are the originals threaded with a plug over the top? or will I need to tap the hole to accept the grub screws?

I have never replaced them, but the ones by no1 cylinder are a good sand trap!

Due to the casting sand contamination of the oil ways on my last engine I spent a lot of time squirting petrol from a syringe through the timing chain tensioner holes until I was sure no more would come out. Couldn't see how to remove them without drilling them out.

OK, Thanks, Ill make sure to pay attention there..
From the lack of response I'm guessing that nobody messes with them much. I did drill out the one near the dizzy as it looked rough.. Though in the end I think it would have been Ok. The hole does seem to be threaded 5/16-x-24

The other two look fine and I'll leave well alone!!
