In the process of doing the hood. The frame is now straight and all the bolt/nuts are tightened. The new hood is waiting to go on once the new rubbers arrive.

The thing is does the webbing go from front to rear or just from the front to the last hoop. I've seen that some don't go down to the back but my rear part has the holes and the flat for the webbing.

I have just done the front to the last hoop ( the one above the window) but have loads of webbing in case I've mucked up.

Just looked at my MK1 hood and the webbing only goes as far as the rear hoop above the window. Don't know about my MK2 hood as it is hiding under the hardtop.

Thanks for that, might have got it right first time then.

Fun time at the weekend trying to get the new hood to fit nice and tight. I have seen a few way to do it, front to back and back to front.

The back bit looks pre-cut to fit, along with the part for the B post, then you have to cut/trim the hood above the screen. So fitting the rear on first will allow adjustment at the front. But doing the other way round and it could be too long or short and the rear. Test and adjust.

Its going to be fun either way.
