Has anyone got a 5 litre or 2x1 litres of Valvoline VR1 (20-50) I could borrow tomorrow and send replacements direct to your house you would need to be in thames corridor / west london.
Alternatively does anyone know where I can get said slippery stuff over the counter in the same area.
The reason - The Stag was 'marking its territory' simple job you say replace oil pump seals / transfer housing seal and while I am at it an oil change and new filter. Had 5 litres of VR1 already. Well to cut a long story short I managed to mislocate the oil transfer housing on its 'pip' and with the coil disconnected I was turning the engine over to 'prime the pump', but unknown to me the pump primed very quickly but with nothing on the gauge it continued to pump out a couple of litres of my new oil onto the garage floor
Going to Bob's Brands Bash on Sunday need the VR1 and if I cannot get any will have to drain out the remaining 3 litres and refill with what I can get.
