I dont know how many of you have changed the size of the steering wheel but I think you get a lot better feel to yoursteering if you have a smaller and thicker wheel. Anyone else experienced this?

I replaced my original Stag wheel within months of getting the car (Had 14 years now), I hated it. I got one from an old MG Metro, it a direct replacement. Prized out the centre, fipped it over and put a Stag logo in it. It's been on ever since, much nicer feel to it.
Looking at doing an upgrade now. Got one from a Rover 200, wanted the horn buttons on the spokes. This has an airbag which I don't intend to set up, I'll just use it to fill the centre. Also the spline hole is much smaller, got to sort out getting it machined out or even get another top part of the Stag column and machine that.
The reason is, I want to relocte the overdrive button, the horn wiring will allow this.
Then I want to get a piece of Stag antler (ebay) and make a gear knob.
