Recaros finally in.

Finally after waiting 3 years for the trimmer to finish them, then a year with them sat in the garage my Recaros are in. They seem higher but that's no surprise as the seat base on my old seat was totally shot and it was like sitting on the floor.

Finally got them fitted. Had some steel bent as per your drawing but the seat runners on mine must be different to yours as the runners did not line up. Mine have Ford runners with the seat fixings weirdly at 14.5 inch centres at the front and 14 inch centres at the rear where the seats bolt to the runners. Not sure if the runners and seats havent been "adapted" to fit each other in the past as I thought the runners would need to be parallel but after a bit of work fabricating some brackets they adjust really smoothly.
The seats feel high at the moment but Im sure they are no higher than the original seats would be if the diaphragms and foams were as new.

No problem glad you have fitted them and they look great trimmed to match.
Mine are definitely lower than the original seats, but this might be due to the runners. My runners are something like only half an inch thick.
