Driveshafts - peened vs circlips

I will be starting work on the Stag at 7am tomorrow and hope to get the following done!

• Strip old UJ out and put in new one.
• Drill. tap and wire insert to holes on trailing arm
• Strip and re underseal inner wheel arche plus stone chip protection.
• Remove both trailing arms and put new bushes in.
• Flush Coolant and refill.
• Remove front suspension for refurbishment.

Don't know what to do after lunch!!

I am a bit worried the car will not be ready for Stoneleigh but will definitely be ready for Prescott!!!

Hi All

The car is going to be off the road a lot longer than first thought! I thought I had most of the parts needed for the halfshafts but have not, so will have to wait for them to come now.

Upon inspection I have found the propshaft needs new UJ's aswell plus the I can't find my spring clamps anywhere to do the front struts.

Just have to content myself with stripping all the old underseal off and redoing it without rushing.

I will not be at Stoneleigh but will see you all at Prescott hopefully!:?
