How long will it take to change rad, flush out cooling system fit new thermostat ect

Ive got a recon radiator and new thermostat
Would it take long to flush out cooling system and fit these then refil/bleed?
I'm going to Silverstone classic tomorrow so only got this evening to do it
Or should I wait till I have a whole day
The temp gauge sits around half way or just over on a hot day so it's not the end of the world if I leave it
    Thanks
    Gary

I would leave it until you get back, avoiding any unforseen complications that may arise. Never rush a classic car repair I say.

              As I said earlier.

It took me the best part of a day and a half, but that included two flushes, one with Wynns cooling system flush, and fitting a Revotec fan. Then again, most jobs take me twice as long as they should. Also I forgot to put the thermostat back in so had to partially drain down again.

A say and a half sounds about right for that lot! It took me best part of a day just to fit my electric fan and get the relay wired......
