    Brake cylinders

Can anybody out there give me some advice please.

I've just narrowed my brake fluid loss to a dodgy rear brake cylinder. It's off the car now and upon inspection I'm loathe to recondition it with new seals as the bores looka bit suspect. Unfortunatley time is of the essence here as I was planning to go to Tatton Show on Saturday. I know I can probably get one mail order but not in time to work on it tomorrow.

I'm going to start a search of motor factors and spares shops tomorrow, does anyone know if these brake cylinders are common to other cars to give me of a more fighting chance of locating one. I can't see a manufacturers name on it either.

    Thanks in anticipation

    Dave,

Give Peter Howell a call on 01869 249682 or 07941 606361. He operates http://www.ldpart.co.uk. I would be surprised if you didn't get a replacement by tomorrow.

Thanks Dave and thanks for the link

Looks like I'm going down that line as I don't seem to be having any luck locally.

I've always found the staff at LD extremely helpful and always willing to give you that bit of insider knowledge, trick or tip.
