    Repairing front grill (centre part)

Hopefully, this has not been asked before, but apologies in advance if it has.
I knew one of the clips holding the grill was loose, now it seems the other one on the near side of the grill has broken. Is there any way of welding/gluing them back together. The fixings have snapped from the rear of the grill.
    Thanks in advance. Nigel

I've used countersunk pop rivets like these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-2mm-Alum...Rs34eseTsA8yKw

I had tried rivets @ metal glue successfully but got this LUMI WELD stuff at the Birmingham Classic a few years ago and whilst I'm slightly embarrassed with the quality of finish the job's a good un.

I was more concerned with not damaging the grille with overheating whilst gaining a competent fix rather than going for a pro quality appearance.

IMO it has worked better than using the rivets and metal glue.

I used a http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rothenberg...lding-Plumbing to create the 'weld'.
