Dim Oil Pressure Warning Light

    Thanks. I will look into that. My car is a '73 LHD US with A/c and has a 3 prong oil pressure switch. I looks like it has 1/4 Mk1 and half Mk2ish looms. Both my LHD cars are setup with the 2-4 headlight beams. I wonder why the UK cars had the 2-2 setup ?
    Sorry to ask BUT....the diode has a red tag one end and a white tag the other, also at the red end is a white line on the diode. Does this show the direction ?

      The "red" end with the white line is the cathode, this is the end you connect to the Handbrake Warning light ( the white line on the diode is the end with the straight line "bar" in the symbol on the diagram. The black triangle in the symbol indicates the direction that the diode will pass current.
