Speedograph air filters

Hi Guys

The GT6 has Speedograph air filters fitted to it. According to their website the filterelementscan be cleaned by using warm soapy water:shock:

I noticed from the fitment list that they are available for a Stag and wondered if any of you had them fitted to your car? If so,what your opinion of them was and how do you clean the elements on yours? Do they have any advantages over the original air filter setup?

Are these filters foam inside? If so you normally have to re oil them after cleaning. Very similar to K & N Filters used on Motorcycles.

If there paper I don't see how you can clean them with water!:shock:

used to have pipercross filters (not on the stag) thesewere foam and used to use detergent but had to be re oiled afterwards - same with the K&N s that I have had in the past.

There will be less restriction but carbs need to be set up to take advantage of it - in theory with different needles?? sure others will know

Merlin motorsport do itg foam air filters that fit stromberg carbs and many others aswell
