Stags in Sydney-mission failure

Well, my quest to see a Stag in Sydney has failed and now we are are due to return to UK tomorrow.

It's a balmy 31c today here in Sydney and I assume that the worst of winter is over in UK so can anyone confirm that I will be oK to travel back in my shorts and flip flops to Heathrow?

Sorry you missed seeing Stags in Sydney, there are plenty about, here in South Aust we have 50 Stags in the local SOC and guesstimate there are about 300 hundred in this state. Australia finished up as the largest export market for Stags so they are still quite numerous with all states well represented.

Hi Peteroz,

South Aust. is one state we haven't visited in the last 5 visits, but I think that er indoors would not be happy for us to spend days there when Ozson is here in Sydney.

Never mind, as always, we have had a great time in Australia and will be recommending it to all our friends back home. Shame about the current exchange rate though. Unleaded is still half the cost of UK.

Yes come back in your shorts, it's a balmy -4 this morning in my part of Kent, but the sky is clear and the sun will be shining!
