Does anyone know of a temporary repair for the seat diaphragm?
I took out my Mk1 seats for a look-see and have discovered that they need the full works. This I intend to do next winter - when funds allow. There seems to be a decent amount of foam in the middle of the base and back, the base sides still provide some support but the side bolsters are pretty much hollow! It looks like replacing the diaphragms would make a substantial difference to the comfort levels in the meantime. I am reluctant to replace just these in case the lack of support in other areas damage them.
Will replacing just the diaphragms for a year damage them?
Is there a temporary repair that can be done to the diaphragms is the meantime?
