    20% off

Got an e-mail from Rimmers offering20% discount to anyone until the end of January, thats after a 10% off one before Xmas. Pity I don't need anything at the mo.

I have been bombarded with all sorts of things, wine @ £3.69 a bottle for wines supposedly priced at £8.50, holidays, cruises, furnitureetc. But as I watch my savings income dwindle to almost nothing allmy spare cash for such luxuries has disappeared.

Drove past the filling station which priced diesel at 94.9p, as I still have over 1/4 of a tank. It'll be cheaper next week

    Whats your best discount opportunity?

      Steve.

Check that the nuts run up to the shoulder. StagnJags and mine did not and thread damage occurred. I ran a die up the thread and that sorted it.

Saw the offer from Rimmers in Triumph World tonight (Feb Issue), glad they have done this as I am doing my diff and rear suspension at the moment.

It says you need to quote reference code "UK019D" when ordering whether by phone, e-mail or the web.

        Get saving.........

          Hi John/Steve,

The threads on mine did run all the way up and there was a recess just before the shoulder so the nut had clean thread all the way, but the metal is very soft and they stripped before I got to 30NM of torque, the instructions said 50NM I think. I would recommend that you bin the thin nuts that come with them and use some full size nuts. (3/8" UNF).

          Regards

          Dave
