Exempt from T charge in London

Don’t know if this has been posted or mentioned yet. I did a check on my stag and it comes back exempt!

Mine came back exempt and being March 77 manufacture it is not VED exempt yet so don’t know what criteria they are using?

so newer cars can be more polluting than older ones.

I did alway think the scrappage schemes were nothing more than snake oil and I very much doubt this charge will do much for London's air quality

If this is a toxic charge, does that also mean we are exempt from the congestion charge too being that the money is supposed to be going to save the planet?

Nope, we are still subject to the C Charge.

Interesting. And if all the cars on the road today were electric the grid would not be able to cope with the demand. So the solution is for us all to have a smal diesel generator at home to charge up our electric cars. So we will still be creating Nox emissions anyway. Or we go back to tilling the land as they did during the Iron Age!
