Took the Stag for mot today which it passed. Escort on other ramp, felt like I had gone back in time.

Nice one Dave. That Escort is probably valued at twice your Stag but not worth it. Were you able to compare the 2? Stag is more on the plush side I suppose but the Escort more sporty

A bit hard to tell but is that a mk1 escort ? dave looks like youve been cleaning again,its spotless

It's a Mk 1 Escort, originally an 1100, now running a pinto but the guy was planning on going Zetec. The guy bought the car last week with no interior, exhaust or brakes and paid 6k for it. Looked OK from a distance but not so good close up but that doesent seem to matter where old Fords are concerned. I would of bought it for that money but would have ended up stripping it and rebuilding it.

Afternoon Dave that’s a lot of of money even though it’s obviously had some money spent on it but the log book still says it’s a 1100.

Yep were all fine thanks, hope you two are too. Brian's back on the road and now running better than ever, blockage in fuel line was the problem.
