Nineteen pounds for a sump plug? Call me a Yorkshireman but I'll drill a hole in mine and drop a magnet in for a lot less that that!

      Quite right Rich!

Just bought a pack of 6 off 6.35mm (1/4") dia x 9.53mm (3/8") thick N42 Neodymium Magnets - 1.68kg Pull. Gonna ream out my plug (ooeeer Missus etc etc) to a light transition fit and press one of them in. Might still do the wrap around magnet 'bracelet' on the oil filter as well.
