Sneaky feeling the seller has form for posing as a poor enthusiast, then selling at top dollar, so can't see much hope of sub £4k.
I see Keith has dug out the thread on which my recollection was based.Last edited by StagJonno; 9 November 2017, 22:23.White 1976 build ("Mk2") only a few mods

Reminds me a bit of a Stag that lived in this area about 30 years ago but that one had bigger arches and wider tyres and was a mixture of gloss black and rust with chrome side pipe exhausts and a Rover V8.
Probably long since gone to the scrapyard, but its owner was a power line repair man for the MEB and did over 30,000 miles a year in it. It actually looked a bit of a beast in its time, and I wouldn't have minded it myself (with a respray)!
However, I must agree with Kithmo on this one!

Now that’s interesting Dave, it’s the one I nearly bought for £7k off a guy on eBay who was selling it for his mate - it was unfinished but heavily modded with a 4.6 TVR engine, bmw back axle etc.
Good to see its been mobilised and someone’s enjoying it, not to everyone’s taste but essentially a very well sorted car that just needed some tlc.Mike
