Ain't no sunshine yellow when she's gone

    image.jpg

After much hard labour on the part of my son and his friend restoring the Stag I sadly parted with it today. I moved house two years ago because the garden became too much to look after and as I was unable to find suitable storage for the Stag it spent a year under a car cover on the drive. The new house directly backs on to the sea so it wouldn't have been long before all the hard work put into it would have been undone and it would have been back to as it was when I bought it. I was still having second thoughts when I saw and heard it drive off as the buyer took it for a test drive but it's some consolation knowing it's gone to a new owner who's wanted a Stag for years and has suitable space to keep it dry and secure. Some consolation but not much! Anyway, I'd like to thank everyone on the forum who gave advice and support during the six months restoration, it was invaluable.
    Best wishes to all, Clive
This is not just a Stag, this is a Mimosa Stag - well it will be soon.

I had been wondering why you had gone very quiet after such a bright start, not sure this explains it but I understand about sea air and drive stored cars - on a plus I would love living very close to the sea.

Anyway stick around, you won't be the only one here without a Stag I am sure.

That's a shame Clive, one day you might find storage and be able to re-join the yellow team , look after yourself
