I live about 4 miles from that tunnel. It is a favourite place to drop a cog and give it some welly just to listen to the noise. I think if Ronaldo was honest, that's exactly what he was doing....I know I do!
Apparently the car hit a wall but Ronaldo complained that the wall wasn’t 10 yards away.
Witnesses said Ronaldo’s Ferrari was only slightly bumped from behind but it flipped and rolled over 6 times, it then spun around on the spot for 10 minutes before all 4 wheels fell off and it collapsed into a heap.

3 ex Policemen from Mersyside have studied the CCTV images and have confirmed thats exactly what happened. Apart from the slight bump, apparently the other car never touched his.
Alex Ferguson who was driving in the tunnel at the same time said he never saw the incident.
