I've found Triumph Valencia blue, a Triumph colour from the sixties is about as close as you can get.....but you'll probably have to get it mixed specially.
Ok this thread has spurned me into something that I have been meaning to do for months
I have a Dolomite Sprint engine up the garden that has never been in a car because it was in a motor engineering collage on a stand attached to a Borg Warner 65 autobox(if anyone’s interested in it it could be up for grabs!)
Anyway I’ve nicked the oil filter bowl off it this morning to replace the leaky one on my Stag
Ive taken some pics for you BC571BC7-8107-4B17-BA7A-48BE3EFDE5E7.jpg 3FE47DE8-5046-43FC-94E7-DDA047F472DA.jpg 6DC86592-D3C1-4FA5-AAEF-26D8F42D7807.jpg
Here is my Stag original oil filter. I was concerned if my camera of your screen changed the colour so I went into B&Q with the filter and found this colour card which is pretty close to the colour.
Wouldn't suggest you use this paint but if you go into B&Q and pick up this colour card then you have a good starting point to get it matched exactly.
It is a Valspar paint X82 "Sailing by Moonlight" R166A. Oil filter.jpg
