Ebay, as most of us know, is sometimes a useful source to get that difficult or rare bit.

However you cannot help but admire the cheek of this seller. Secondhand Timing chains! There is plently of discussion over the merits of this make or that make but it is a very desperate person who fits 2nd hand chains.



Just a minute I still have the oil I drained out of the sump last week, and those old plugs - someone must want them!

The crazy thing is......

someone will buy them. Maybe not now, but they will. It never ceases to amaze me how much people will bid for old tat, often more than they can get new ones for.

I have bought several bits from Les, he'sa good bloke, he also advertises in the SOC mag, if he is selling them then he must consider them to be in good nick. Would I fit them to my car? - No of course not, but as you say someone will buy them, especially at that price and possibly/probably for some of the other bits rather than the chains. Totally agree!! Alan of all the bits to come up with!!! havin said thaty I too dealt with Les often for many odds and sods at reasonable price! he lost the plot on this one though!!
