Quite separately, I've had my first invitation to a (very informal) classic car meet at a pub in Benington near Stevenage on Boxing Day.

PS Halfords may be dear, but they are open 7 days a week and I have got a trade card somewhere which I think can give 30 to 40% off tools and some parts. Must try to find it!

Holes for bolts for - Inled Manifold, Power Steering Bracket, and Plugs are the ones that tend to go and need helicoiling, so if you are likely to be doing any work on any of those, it is a good idea to have a recoil kit handy. Don't know if you previously mentioned Stromberg Carbs, but you need the special tool for adjusting the mixture on those if you are going to do it yourself.
