A friend of mine had a car of a similar colour back in the early 1980's. It was customised with big chrome sidepipes under each sill and had a Rover/auto conversion, which I think was more common back then before we knew that the stag V8 could be made reliable. I bought the sidepipes off him and fitted them to my Ford Prefect 107E - Hey I was young and daft back then! He also lived in Yorkshire but I doubt it's the same car.

You can change colour David. My point was the auction has been restarted several times which means people have seen the colour, bid on it and still haven’t gone though with the purchaseOriginally posted by davidf View PostSee thread title!!!!Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. Yes, not sure whether the thread title referred to the colour or the bodywork mods. - I was assuming the bodywork, and implying that might be the general reaction to it; hence the non-sale.Originally posted by Goldstar View PostYou can change colour David. Anyway, whatever, Merry Christmas all.'72 Manual O/d Saffron Yellow

I think he keeps cancelling and relisting it because it's not getting near his asking price, IIRC it's listed on C&C for £7300.Originally posted by Goldstar View PostYou can change colour David.
