Sad news indeed Steve. An absolute stalwart on the forum for many years. He bravely fought through his earlier treatments and was unlucky enough to have his terminal prognosis a few short months ago. And still he continued in his role as a moderator.
We shall miss him.

I recieved the sad news of ians passing recently,he had been fighting a brave battle with cancer for a considerable time and just a few months back recieved the news himself it had returned with a vengance ,rather than throw in the towel he fought on still maintaining the forum which he had a passion for and not wanting anyone to share his burden . He was a very brave guy and a true car enthusiast new and old even down to his lambretta love.
He will be greatly missed by us on the forum pane and by all who knew him.my thoughts go to his family

Sad news, it seems like only yesterday I was speaking with him on the phone and offering buying advice when he was looking for a Stag and then found the "Magenta Marvel" as he called it near to him in Fleet. Once recommissioned he came to many car shows and events in his pride and joy.
