Hi Dave, they do look VERY good, nice job. Two questions, 1, what's that on the left of your rad ? 2, where did you get those strut top covers. Martin.

Well I dont like to admit it but the thing on the left of the rad is a compressor unit for musical air horns.
I got the strut covers off e-bay a few years ago. A mate of mine who had a Stag also had some which is what made me keep an eye out for them. They are quite an intricate pressed shape so would be quite difficult to reproduce.
I fitted the air horns a few years ago and like you the horns are fitted behind the front panel out of site. Your right it becomes far to easy to get too serious about the Stag or any other car for that matter, far better to have the car the way you want it and try to have a laugh at the same time. The compressor for the horns certainly gets people interested as most have no idea what it is.
