First thing I checked too, Stuart. I wonder why? Has the car been declared as scrap and the number been soldfor use on another make of car? H-reg Stags were thin on the ground. Mainly pre-production press cars.

Early car like that will make a few bob on ebay, would'nt mind a bid on it myself but have only just sold a restoration project that I did'nt have the time to start on, need to win that lottery a retire to the country in a house with a big barn.

There are 3 'J' Stags and a 'K' Stag on Pistonheads. Don't think I have ever seen 3 'J' Stags for sale at one time.
