    Dont worry Stan its not getting drilled, it is anthracite brown and takes on a dark grey/brown look in different light conditions.

          Yes forgot, putting the Stroms back on ! They look original under the bonnet and i really dont trust that Weber! It wasn't designed for the engine.

            Car looks good, and so does the house.
            With regards Strombergs, mine have been working fine for the past nearly 25 years now, and the only thing I have had to change was a split diaphragm, and occasionally weaken or enrich the mixture as well as regularly topping up with oil.

              Thanks Terry, cars all mine, we down sized a year ago and its a lovely terraced house in run of 4. Problem is very tiny garage so i can't work on the car so much anymore. Wards are getting next week so at least professionals work on it now.
