    Resto Project ?

I came back from a week in South Devon yesterday and was surprised to see quite a few Stags heading in the opposite direction. Was there a meet or a show in the Dartmouth area ?

Whilst there i came across this little gem in a park and ride car park. It was last taxed in 05. It was obviously well looked after until recently. Unfortunately the sea air and being kept outside uncovered has taken its toll on the bodywork.

It has a Stag Owners Club Sticker on the screen so it may be a members car, if so why is it there and what is wrong with it ? I would love to know because it didnt look like much of a restoration to get it gleaming again. In fact the hood on it is better than the one on mine !!!

    Staggy,

That would have been the Devon Area 'Moor to Moor' Run that has been actively advertised in the club magazine and on this website for the past 9 months or so.

Hope you enjoyed your trip to South Devon. I shall be popping up to your neck of the woods in a couple of weeks, but not in the Stag. The Mrs has tickets to some gardening show at the NEC and I have been nominated as chauffeur for her and her work colleague. I had thought of nipping across the border into Leicestershire to see at first hand what Spring Grange Classics and Cherished Classics have to offer. More interesting than traipsing around the NEC looking at flowers (yawn! yawn!)

Shame to see the apparently dumped Stag. Whereabouts is it? Maybe someone here recognises the registration number.

Real shame about the Stag that seems to have been abandoned - especially when you think that someone's looked after it for such a long time.

I hope that it doesn't getvandalisedand that someone will take it on soon.
