    Front and rear horse shoe`s and mouldings.

    Hi

    I am looking to replace the chrome trim on the front and rear end of my stag, this looks like a fidely job , has anyone got any good sugestions on how to do this.

    Easy job if your panels are correct

    Clean the are of the wing and offer each one up without its clips. It should be easy to move them around and then you know they will fit. Fit the clips and push the trims on by hand only and don't bang them on as they could chip paint if they go too far too quickly. If they fit easily without the clips first, then you know it will be an easy job. Get the point in first when fitting, where the stripefinishes.

    When they have been fitted, I would use Dum Dum, whichis a black flexible sealant and it will keep the waterout. Its a bit like Blu Tac but back and can be rolled in with fingers with disposableglove on)
