All the usual suspect sell the standard top mounts; or Chris Witor's an alternative for the roller bearing mounts

            Hi Stuart

Approximately 6 months ago I ordered some top mounts from JP. At that time he told me that they were actually used units that wererefurbished in Australia. They were delivered to me minus the three studs and later I was told that the idea was that I should remove the studs from my old units and install them in the new units. Remember that you will also need the bushing that is pressed into the top mount. I used the bushing from the old mount and pressed them into the new ones but then found they now required reaming to size. I did not have a reamer soI used my 3 stone wheel cylinder hone (with lots of varsol/parafin?)to bring them to the correct internal diameter.

The above mounts were installed in my restored stag and a month or so ago I ordered some top mounts from a USA Stag parts supplier. These mounts are for the Stag that I am presently restoring and suprise suprise ,they came with the three studs.

Try James Paddocks but inquire if the come with the studs

I have these fitted - not cheap, but. IMHO, a good upgrade....
