I have corresponded a few times with Russ over the years and you have to remember this is his 2nd EFI stag engine. There is a photo of his first engineon the 1st page of this thread and it was his 1st engine that inspired my project.

What Russ does not say in his latest post is that his new engine will not be going in a Stag , too easy! Russ has constructed a Ferrari clone (250) When I asked him why he started with a Stag engine when spares were difficult stateside and he was surrounded with V8s with better reliability and power. He said he wanted to create something that had everyone scratching their heads when he opened the 'hood'. Seems he has succeeded. , too easy! Although he is Stateside I am proud to say he's a Brit.

That is phenomenal! :dude:I have been harbouring notions about doing something along those lines myself. I have EFI for my Imp racer and I have one bank of CBR 954 TBs spare at the moment. I was only concerned about getting the manifold done. But I have taught myself to weld steel, so aluminium is next...
