--But the N12Y's are what most people use if NGK's aren't there choice---but I just wanted to know if N92Y are the older product code for N12Y's and therefore Stag compatible?

I have had a look on here and can't find N92Y listed but did find this.

Interestingly BPR5ES NGK equivalent is N11YC:?

Paddocks are selling Bosch super 4 spark plugs for £ 1.50 each, and according to a couple of Stag owners that have fitted them make the tick over smoother than standard plugs.

            Cheers

Darren what I would say about spark plugs in a stag is that if your car runs fine with the ones youve had in the car replace with identical.Ive found that the stags ive owned especially the one I have at present, can be very temperamental.Mine runs bad with NGKs in and latter day Unipart ones(which I think are now Bosch). Some people can only run on NGKs but it seems to vary on some cars.

                The reason I ask is

They are quite cheap-- i am currently using Champion 12's and they work well but I wanted to know if these were the same and couldn't find anything official which tells me they are

                  Hi All

I have fitted to my car withBosch WR9DC spark plugs due to being sold them as an alternative to Bosch BPR5ES (alternative to RN12YC!).

Some of you may remember I have had some cold start problems, well it appears to be these plugs which upon removal are running very weak compared to the NGK plugs I removed which are nice light chocolate colour.

I rang the motor factor that sold me them and he told me to take them back and he will exchange them for NGK BPR5ES as the Bosch one's are giving me trouble!

How many suppliers do you know that would do this after 4 weeks or purchase?

Just goes to show it's good to buy local if you can then you can go back and talk to the supplier!

                  Stuart
