Covers for the hood frame holes

Hi,

When the hood's down, there's a big ugly hole behind each of the door pillars where the main hood spar pivots, I'm sure you know where I mean! Anyway, I've seen pictures of Stags in the club mags which have neat little covers which seem to slot over these holes. I've not seen these adverstised by any of the parts companies - does anyone know where I can obtain a pair of these?

TSSC has them too, but they cost a bit more and probably exactly the same!

I have a set of these and they do look very tidy when fitted.

Bear in mind that you have to fit them after lowering the hood and remove them before raising it. I've managed to forget this on several occasions when raising the hood and bent the tabs on the back of the plugs. The tabs bend back easily enough but I am not sure how many times they will survive my memory lapses.

If you anticipate having young children in the back, then I think it is something to look at seriously. I have seen a home-produced set of covers finished in black vinyl and they looked very acceptable. Didn't strike me that they were desperately difficult to make.
