I was given a combined oil pressure/water temp guage and tried to fit it today. I went to a local scrapyard this morning and obtained the copper/flexible hose pipework from an MGB but when I tried removing the original pressure switch I can't get a spanner on it either from above or below. My car is an auto and it seems like I will need to remove the auto box dipstick tube, is this correct or has anyone managed this with the tube in situ?
