New forum is a vast improvement, feel much more part of a community and like the new features - it's good tobeable to relate a member to a pic of theircar.

Just a thought but is it possible to alter the profile fields to include more details of our Stags? e.g. Year of manufacture, engine, mods etc. Current profile places emphasis more onthe member rather than their car.

Just wanted to say tar very much to the old pioneers for "opening" the forum to the rest of the STAG world.

I certainly would be lost without trawling through all the real life repairs done out there in STAG WORLD

I was not aware it had been 'opened'. There is no link on the home page to a forum, you can only access it through the members route, using a name/password.

Having said that I support an open forum, butclub technical info, buyers guides etcshould be secure andavailable only to members.

That was the way it was supposed to be, but a Google search on 'stag owners club forum' will supply a link direct to the forum, by-passing the SOC website completely. That is probably how non-members arrive here.

The Buyers guide is open to all and so it should be to help potential club members know what to look for. I agree the Tech section should be for Members only as should the other areas which are on the members page.

However I believe the Forum should have a link from the non member site with a time limit or restrictions like other club forum sites.

I would also like to see a register of all the club cars on the members page like triumphstag.net. This info is given to the club when you join but what do they do with it and how do you update it if you sell or add to the stag collection?

We have approx 4000 members but no info on the cars or members who own these cars!

Not quite if yougoogle for "stag owners club forum" it's third on the list. or you can access it directly via http://stagownersclub.mywowbb.com/

Personally I'd add a great big buttonon the front page of the SOC website as well.
