I know that the MGF seats appear to be a popular choice on here, even though they don't tip forward. Anybody used any different seats that wouldn't look too out of place but wait for it , to match a brown interior.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that XJS seats would fit?
Some here - but in cream leather - nice

I've bought a set of these in Black leather.

full leather, they tip and the pleats are the same direction and size as the originals. Have not fitted them yet but saw a pair fitted to Clive Tait's car at the National last year. Seem to be very comfy and supportive as well.
I got the rear seats as well and am hoping a trimmer can recover the Stag rear seat to match from the leather in the Rover rear seats.

Recaro's in minean ebay purchase.
Unknown vehicle fitment so not much help, but believed to be aftermarket Recaro's from the late 70's so you could say period
Best mod that I have done to my Stag I would say!
Quite easy to fit once you measure both seats to determine the adapter brackets required.

They all look better than the originals in my opinion, espacially as mine has MK1 seats fitted, but going back to the Tan coloured question ?

"Cat amongst the Pigeon time" as i must admit i am a bit of a purist and to change the seats is like changing the buttons on your wifes Channel Dress (Can be done but at what cost). The best option is to get them modified slightly by a good trimmer, they can add some side bolster wire to the frame and rebuild the seats to modern day comfort but without compromising on aesthetics.
Just my view but that is what i plan to do, all i have to do know is find a good trimmer?

Hi, seats look really good - wouldnt mind a photo once you have them installed - what sort of price did u get them for ... I seem to remember at one of the SOC yearly meets that someone had adapted Capri seats to fit and they looked really good..Stev
