    Sump plug spanner

Got myself one of these- laser cut out of stainless steel. Edges need a quick dress with some emery but at the price you cannot complain - better than using a mole or open ender

I have just bought a magnetic sump plug from EJ Ward, it has a hexagonal head so you can use an ordinary spanner. Why are sump plugs different anyway? Anyone know?

I guess it's because they are cast and it is easier to cast a square. I bought a magnetic drain plug with square head from e bay. It needed PTFE tape to seal.

Mine arrived today. Excellent little tool, and a bargain at that price.

        No connection, etc.
