I don't reckon Ford have made anything other than crap since the MK 2 Zodiac! and possibly theMK 2 Escort RS 2000, all right, theGT 70.

Thatcolour was of it's time, on the Stag,and the VW Beetle, Ilikeit,a lot, but on a cheapamorphous bubble that costs the same as a real car, and despite fourdoors only just holds two people, well, all I can think of to say is the marketing people must have an average age of nine ! It and all of it's ilk are UGLY ! Fail Often Requires Destruction ! No, it's not a rant - it's an opinion. Martin.

I remember seeing a "Le Mans" colour sickly green Ford Capri on the Ford Stand at the Annual Motor Show when it used to be at Earls Court. I think that that year TVR were showing a lovely little car called the TVR Tinaon their stand - but it never made it into production (as far as I know).

IIRC some of the "Mexico" Escorts were a gopping orange colour.

Martin, being a fan of 70s and early 80s fords, i didnt like the later stuff, but having taken an ST Focus for a test drive, we bought it, its a fantastic car! Goes like stink and handles really well.

Its much better than our supposed quality saab aero we had!!

Jason, this isnt a rant either just my point of view!!

Stagstan, thank the Lord we don't all think the same ! You've got a Stag so I forgive you the Focus, I hope you take pleasure in it. As for SAAB, sadly they've been Vauxhalls for years, I've owned a 99EMS and a GL and loved them both, the first was quick and the second was unstoppable. Martin.

Hi Bruce, our ST has 225BHP, plenty me think!!:shock:

Martin, our SAAB was a W reg 93 aero, were SAAB GM then?? nice enough car but when it went wrong (evrey year) it was very expensive. £550 for a new fuel pump to be fitted!!:shock::shock:
