    Door cards

    Hi All

Just in the process of renewing my hardboard backs of my door cards, but I'm unsure as towhich partthe plastic sheet should be attached to

Should it be stuck to the door it's self or to the door card?

    Cheers

stick to the door it is designed to minimize the ingress of water and moisture keeping it inside the door cavity where it falls to the drain holes in the doors and then cant escape cos they are blocked so rots the door bottoms away:shock:keep em clear........................steve...............

        Hi Sue

The plastic sheet is there to stop water running down the inside of the door and wetting the door card ,so it should be attached to the door itself

            Hi

Mine are stuck to the door trim it looks easier than sticking to the door it`self less mess on the door with spray glue- sticky tape, etc, depends weather you use the car in all seasons.

I've used new 3mmhardboard, and reused all the foam and the cover and I'mwell pleased with results i will have to post some pics

Still got the drivers door to do, just waiting on some new clips and the bracket for the rear door glass channel to finish off the passenger side, my seats are next on the agenda.
