I e-mailed them on sunday for info on a viscous coupling---Simon replyed monday morning with the price etc. I ordered it on Monday afternoon and it arrived with the post on tuesday

It was well priced, well packaged and now well fitted

I get the same service from JP and LD too. This goes to show that the service we receive from many of our suppliers is just superb.

G`day,

The NUMPTY from Aus Simon is dam good at getting the stuff out on time. Also at a mighty keen price i.e. dropping surcharges for exchange items (because there stock was high) for international customers. Will most certainly be using them again.
Ordered some gear, centre console, sun visors (compulsory on the Gold Coast) and a couple of other bits, arrived the other side of the world in 4 days via courier. only complaint was cost of postage:shock:, trouble was i paid for allot of heavy air.
Wish i had ordered some extra stuff to fill up the 7 kilo parcel that weighed 2.5!!! You live and learn.:?

Just as a foot note Still waiting for JP (14 days) for bit's Robs didn't have all ordered same day. grrrrrr

I find Robsport good to deal with,always helpful,bought a l/h silencer box Saturday which I didnt need in the end,phoned them up,Simon said bring it back and we will give you your money back.

you are sooooo right we have very little choice as you have identified.

Simon as i undersstand has Ozzie connections, perhaps thats why he looks after us colanial cousins great service and the parts were also very good quality. the only moan would have been about the small amount of red / brown couloured metal on the console i belive we used to call it RUST in the UK something you dont see very often in Australia

Just got to "BIG UP" a chap by the name of Greg Tungstall in Cleveland Redlands near Brisbane just a real nice guy.
He has been playing Triumph for years.
Best thing about the guy he is so happy to share his years of experience with you and chew the fat even if you don't end up buying trough him.
Best of all if the part you need is not available in Oz he will tell you and who to use for that part from the UK. (in this case i did not listen:?)
He is a wizz with regard to all SNAG stuff with no smelly Bullpoo if your still learning.

Just going to fit those Sun Visors that evening sun on the ocean is becoming to much for these english eyes :P

Why did you get a centre console sent out from the mother country? I got mine refurbished in Melbourne for $200.00They did a great job,even used the same grain effect on the vinyl.

I couldn't agree more with your comments regarding Greg Tunstall, a wealth of knowledge that he is willing to share over the phone. He even loaned me his Snap-On cylinder head stud extractor a couple of years ago, all I had to do was pay the freight! I don't know of anyone elsewho would be willing to that these days!
