    Parking at Stoneleigh

    Hi Guys

New carbs are working well so Stoneleigh it is. Do we have dedicated parking and do we need to pre book?

Last year I ended up miles away, mind you, I was in a Peugeot

I just checked with their web site. Parking is free but I seem to remember reading that this year the inside parking area was being used by the stallholders and that we may have to park in a field!

I haven't seen any update to that report ......

Tony - I believe there is dedicated Triumph parking - so as long as you're in the Stag?

However I've never been before - a Stoneleigh Stag Virgin!!

        See y'all Sunday

          Hi

The show is this coming Sunday but looking at the weather I imagine any fields will be waterlogged. Not good for Stags and will make me think twice about taking it.

This was posted on the Club Triumph forum in respect of parking at Stoneleigh -

"Ok now I have the answer to my own query so I thought I'd share it in case anyone else is interested. Helen (the Northants and Leics CT organiser) called the shows organisers to ask the question. The answer she got (in her own words) was:

the stands are now going to be in the Cattle Sheds this year and people turning up will have to park outside. They have been allocated dedicated parking for 80 cars on a hard surface car park and are hoping to have further dedicated parking on a shale surface the other side of the arena. The halls are not being used at all for the Triumph event

so all parking will be outside although there will be some reseved hard standing and the stalls will be in the (unheated) cattle sheds. Not sure how many Triumphs are usally there, but 80 spaces doesn't seem a lot from my memories of the numbers there. Not sure what sort of catering/toilet facilities there are likely to be either if the main halls are not open. Starting to look like poor value to me for £10 a head."

So it looks like there will be some form of hardstanding albeit outside - I'm travelling up in a friends Toledo (Triumph not Seat) for a change this year

There are good loos just outside the cattle sheds, and there's a good chance the inside ones will be accessible near the caff. Martin.

No problem with toilets, as you say the one's by the cafe will be open.
