    Battery clamp location

I have just bought a stainles battery clamp from e bay with 2 different sized J clamps.

My battery box has been repaired some years ago and are now missing the locating holes so I wondered if perchance anyone had a piccie of their box showing the locations of both holes.

    Thanks

I've got the front end out of my car at the moment and free access to the locating holes from inside the nose. Happy to take a piccie for you but I won't be home until Friday. If no-one else can do this and you can wait until then I'll post it up here Friday evening.

Hi Pennine ( can't call you that all the time, do you have a name?)

I asked the same question a while back, and was emailed the following pictures.

See this thread for info: http://stagownersclub.mywowbb.com/vi...=battery+clamp

Thanks Arbman (don't know your name either). There was no need to pull the rad out but thanks for all the effort you put in .

You can't see the offside clamp hole, but if you've got normal sized hands, you can just get your hand through the triangular hole and feel your way down, there's a bracket welded to the inner wing with the hole in it, a tedious but easier way to find it is to take out your n/s dipped headlight. I've got one of those brackets, don't 'arf look nice polished, I'm a bit cheesed that the Jbolts are cheap and nasty. Martin.
