Tie Bar bushes

The cars in need of it's MOT soon so I thought I'd look at last years advisory notice.

"Wear in front tie bar rear bushes"

I'm confused... is this the tie rod and can anyone explain which is the rear bush. If someone wouldn't mind pointing out where this is on something like the Rimmer Bros exploded diagram I would be eternally grateful. Then I can get some ordered and have a go at replacing them.

So the MOT tester means the drag strut really??

Is it also known as a radius rod?

It's an easy job to do, did all my front bushes last month (rubber on the drag strut and poly on the others)brought from Peter at www.ldparts.co.uk

While you have the drag strut off check the condition of the track control bush, anti roll bar link and bottom ball joint change if need be while our at it

I rang Peter today (he's always helpful) but thencouldn't remember what the advice note had said duh.

I'll give him a bell tomorrow and get some ordered

You right about Peter he is a top bloke and always my first port of call when needing bit's, when i ordered my stuff for the front, bushes, shocks etc he even offered to personally deliver them fochas he was passing Stafford on the M6 later in the week

Now thats what you call customer service
