Oil in or out??

Hi All,

Whilst on the subject of engine oil, I have my newly rebuilt engine sitting in the garage.

The guy who did the rebuild did not put any engine oil in as we had a differing opinion as to the grade.

Now that I have decided to do as everyone else and put in 20W50, should I put it in now, and then turn the engine over by hand say once a week, until the engine is reunited with the rest of the car??

Any advice gratefully accepted.

Won't do you any harm - put a couple of squirts down the bores too and turn over a few times before screwing the plugs back in
