    Blanking Rubbers/Plugs

    Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can source some blanking rubbers/plugs that are located under the rear seat in the floor ? There are about half a dozen or so (or supposed to be !) - some of mine are either perished or missing in my Mk 2.

    Many thanks for your help.

    Cheers,

    Andy

Just a word of caution - if you fill in all the holes under the seat, there is nowhere for the water to drain out of when it really rains hard & some of the water can & will find it's way into the car & under the rear seat unless you only use it only in the dry!.

If you want to shop from home try LD Parts, search for grommets

        Terry,

The water basin that is the floor under the back seat is designed to hold at least a gallon before it starts to run through the holes. Cleverly the seat cushion is foam filled to absorb the water.

I know - I have had several rear seat passengers complaining of "wet bums" when they have been out in my Stag after it had rained. Never suffered from the problem myself as I only sit in the driver's seat.
