I have damaged the page in my workshop manual that has the cylinder firing order, could some please supply me with this information as am planning tofit new HT leads tomorrow ( Monday 19th )
Do not forget that cyl 1 is not where you would think it is. It is on the left, not the right as you sit in the drivers seat. Tokk me ages to discover that.

Nearly right- it's the front offside(r/h from drivers seat) No 2 is the left (n/s) the one you time from.
Sorry, I was confused (not for the first time) the timing is from the one on the left, not the one you would expect, the No 1 which is on the right. The Stag is I think the only engine that times from no. 2.

'Cos the LH bank is the equivalent of the Dolly/TR7/SAAB four-pot, in which case that is No.1 cylinder.
