Did you know that recent Government legislation changing the Freedom of information Acts gives you access to speed camera offences registered within the last twelve months and placed on a freely accessible website?

Did you know that every time your car goes even over a mile or so over the speed limit, it is registered and placed on the database?

They only send a ticket if you are way over, OR (and here is the rub..) if you receive over 20 near misses!!!!!! You can now check how many you have against your car's registered number.

This website is a load of TOSH!!

It says one of my classics that has not been off my drive in the last 5 months was caught speeding in cornwall last wek and my wifes car was caught ( more locally) on the same day but in an area she had no t been near for at least a month!

Oh well thanks for that V8 Rumbler I now have to spend the rest of this evening running Virus checker AdAware, Spybot S&D, Trojan Hunt etc.

I regret I do not regard posting links to frivolous websites as a JOKE! these are notorious as carriers of spyware, trojans viruses etc!

Why does this forum not have a report post flag?!

In comparison to the protocols that exist on other forums I am a member of, the protocols of this forum are leaving me with serious doubts as to whether I wish to remain a member. I only joined 2 weeks ago! So far the response I have had apart from one or two posters has been less than encouraging.

I trust some sort of moderator is viewing this post?

I have seen this one before, it got me the first time . Apparently I have been driving both of my cars at the same time at the opposite side of the country to the one I live in.:shock::P:P:P

staghusband - this site has been around for a long time. If it had malicious content I am sure it would have been taken down a long time ago, although I appreciate your anxiety!

Thanks for your response. So why post links that are obviouly dubious in origin? You say my computer was under no threat but having caught a few thankfully curable colds via just such links on other forums I am sure you will appreciate my apprehension. BTW on several other forums I am a member of posting a proven dodgy link can result in a posting ban for say 3 months.
