Going to do the first oil change on the Stag. Ive never used an engine flush (eg Wynns) before. Do people advise them or not?

Hi Russell there has been a lot of discussion on using a flushing oil in the stag engine general opinion seems to be a BIG NO. Main reason seems to be realasing gum and gunge that has accumulated over the years and possible blocking up oil ways. Best thing to do is give car a good run get her up to temperature [20 miles at least] and then do the oil change and allow plenty of time to let the oil drain. Peter

Been advised not to fush, best to change oil and filter every 3000 miles. Do mine like this and have had no problems and great oil pressure.
