Hi
Looking to resurrect the stag for april and have got a long list of niggly jobs to sort out,
the first being a fuel gauge that reads quarter full when in reality the tank is empty as my wife found out to her cost last year when she took one of her friends out in it!
I presume there a way of fitting the sender in the wrong position so that the float rests in the wrong place? I put back the original sender as I found it referring to a photograph took before restoration but cannot be sure that this was correct. Also I cannot be sure the wiring at both the gauge and sender has not been messed about with.
Does anyone have images of the original orientation of the sender in relation to the tank and of the wiring to the back of the gauge and the sender.
My car is a 75 man o/d. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Glen
